Inc., located in Raleigh, North Carolina, was established in 1985.
Our
company’s intent is to provide quality asbestos, industrial hygiene,
safety and environmental engineering consulting services for private,
industrial, and governmental clients. Our services address applicable

As North Carolina's one of the known hazardous materials consulting firm, having inspected over 1,000 projects ranging in abatement cost from $1,000 to $1 million, the Hazardous Materials (Asbestos, Mold, Lead, UST, Chemicals) team provides a well designed abatement manual to give the abatement contractor a clear understanding of their role and the client's expectations. Surveys are provided for the preparation of specifications, property transfer evaluation and regulatory compliance for OSHA, EPA and for State of North Carolina Heath Hazard Control Unit rules for long-term management of asbestos in facilities.
We invest time, energy and resources into listening and understanding customers’ goals and challenges and we focus on establishing solid relationships with our clients.
We recognize that we work in an increasingly complex field where it’s important to be responsive, creative and always on top of rapidly changing trends, regulations and data.

their own businesses, counting on us for trusted, cost-efficient
and effective guidance and services in the business we know best.
OUR EXPERTISE
The
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Microbial Contamination team investigates
and evaluated IAQ in non-industrial workplaces such as governmental
and private offices, schools, hospitals, universities, correctional
facilities, addiction treatment centers, courthouses, shopping centers
and warehouses undergoing remodeling or renovations. This includes
the presence of microbial contamination (fungi or bacteria), which
also represents a health hazard to occupants of the building, or to
construction workers during renovation or demolition. IAQ surveys
include the identification, evaluation and control of potential indoor
sources of contaminants.
The Building Science team consists of specialists trained to make recommendations based on visual inspections, diagnostic testing, and monitoring when necessary. They provide overall assessment of the building’s components to provide the Owner with an evaluation of these various components - the foundation essential for well developed, easily managed and economically sound programs for corrective building maintenance.
The Air Quality team provides engineering and Air Monitoring services that focus on responsible discharge and abatement of industrial and commercial air emissions, and control of worker exposure to contaminants through ventilation. Emissions include any chemical and odor discharges to the atmosphere.
The
Occupational Health and Safety team, with Certified Industrial Hygienist
(CIH), offers consulting services to assess and manage potential
workplace health and safety hazards in governmental, industrial,
construction and health care sectors. Services include: Health and
Safety Program Development and Auditing, Occupational Hygiene Surveys,
and Health and Safety Training.
The
Environmental Assessment and Transactional Due Diligence team focuses
on the identification of environmental conditions that may result
either directly or indirectly, in unacceptable environmental or
financial risk, and on the development of ways in which this risk
may be managed or remediated
